Have you ever received a nudge, a download, or a brilliant idea and just kept it to yourself?
Maybe it felt too “small” to share. Or maybe you thought it was just for you, a personal tool or insight.
Well, I had a huge realization about this recently, and it blew my mind. I realized I’ve been accidentally gatekeeping a powerful tool I was meant to share with others.
Let me explain…
It Started with Intuitive Writing
Around 15 years ago, I started blogging. At the time, I didn’t even realize I was channeling.
I had just left a very 3D corporate job in Human Resources, and all the mystical excitement I felt in college had completely faded. I wasn’t looking for anything “spiritual.” But then something strange started happening.
I’d “hear” blog posts in my head that were fully formed, from beginning to end. They would repeat over and over again. If I didn’t write them down, they’d replay on a loop until I finally captured them. Sometimes they’d even wake me up in the middle of the night!
At first, it felt weird, even unsettling. But as I kept listening, it started to change me.
I learned to:
Be a clear channel for my Higher Wisdom.
Trust my intuition over my ego or doubt.
Use this process to transform my life and business.
And through that transformation, I started helping other Spiritual Teachers with their copy and content. My freelance writing business was born, and I was all in.
But here’s the thing:
Those insights about Intuitive Automatic Writing, process I now see as a tool for connecting to Higher Wisdom, got pushed to the back burner.
Until recently.
The Soul Contract: Realizing I Was Gatekeeping
Over the past few months, as the world feels more chaotic and uncertain, I’ve found myself talking a lot about intuition and the importance of being a clear channel.
It hit me like a lightning bolt:
What if we’ve made agreements (before we even incarnated) to share certain gifts, tools, or insights?
I believe these “downloads” we receive whether they come as ideas, processes, desires, or passions, aren’t always just for us. They’re part of our ✨SOUL CONTRACT✨.
And here I was, potentially sitting on a process I was meant to share.
Intuitive Automatic Writing has been such a game-changer in my life, and I’d accidentally been gatekeeping it because it became “just part of my process.”
Sound familiar?
What’s Your Gift to Share?
This realization got me thinking about how often we dismiss or downplay the nudges we receive.
What if that process, idea, or creative spark you’ve been receiving is meant to help others, too?
For example, let’s look at Reiki.
There were several forms of Reiki before Mikao Usui Sensei had his famous channeling experience on the mountains. But Usui understood the assignment: he brought Reiki to the world, teaching it far and wide so it could reach the hands of healers who needed it.
Now, millions of people benefit from Reiki because Usui dedicated himself to sharing the gift he received.
So, here’s my question for you, “Are you sitting on something like that?”
Maybe it’s a practice you’ve developed that has changed your life.
Maybe it’s a message, a process, or an idea that keeps coming to you over and over.
Maybe you’ve dismissed it because you think it’s too “small” or not important enough.
But what if it is important? What if someone out there needs it, and you’re the one who can share it with them?
Nothing Is Too Small
If you have a gift, a tool, or even a simple realization that has helped you, trust that it could help someone else, too.
You don’t have to know why it’s important. You don’t have to have all the answers. You just need to trust the nudge to share it.
So take a moment to reflect:
What insights or tools have come to you recently?
Is there something you’ve been holding back, not realizing its full value?
Because here’s the truth:
Your gifts are needed. Your wisdom is valuable.
Don’t accidentally gatekeep something that could help someone else grow, heal, or thrive.
I’d love to hear from you!
What comes up for you as you think about this? Do you have a gift, tool, or message that’s been sitting on the back burner?
Share it with me in the comments. I can’t wait to hear about the magic you’re ready to bring to the world.
I’ll admit it. For the longest time, I had no clue why The Gene Keys social media accounts were always buzzing about “Transits.” I read their website so many times, and it still didn’t click—why would I care about some weekly “sphere” I may or may not even have?
It wasn’t until I stumbled upon a TikTok by a fellow Gene Keys admirer that it finally made sense. She explained that Gene Keys Transits are like Astrology for the week’s energy—giving us insight into the collective vibe and how it influences us.
So, if you’ve been scratching your head like I was, wondering, “What the heck are Gene Keys Transits, and why should I care?” don’t worry—this post is for you!
I’m excited to share how these weekly shifts can transform your personal growth, shadow work, and even your content planning (yes, really!).
What Are Gene Keys Transits? 🌌
The official (and slightly complicated) answer from The Gene Keys website is:
Gene Keys Transits refer to the movement of celestial bodies through the 64 Gene Keys, which are mapped onto the zodiacal wheel. These transits provide insights into current global themes and personal experiences.
In simpler terms:
The Sun moves through a new Gene Key every 5.5 days, influencing the collective energy.
Planetary positions (like Mercury retrograde or Full Moons) also tie into the Gene Keys system, highlighting archetypal patterns at play.
These transits reveal:
The Global Theme (Pulse): The energetic “weather” based on the Sun’s position in the Gene Keys.
Personal and Collective Shadow Work: The archetypes we’re collectively experiencing—whether in their shadow, gift, or Siddhi frequency.
If that still feels a bit abstract, think of it like Astrology but hyper-focused on energetic transformation. But if that still sounds confusing, keep reading!
Here’s the Tea ☕: Why Gene Keys Transits Matter
Each week, a new Gene Key “activates,” giving you an opportunity to tune into a specific shadow and transform it into its higher frequencies.
Take this week that I’m writing this blog, for example, we’re transiting through Gene Key 5. This energy revolves around impatience (shadow), patience (gift), and timelessness (Siddhi).
What does this mean for you?
If you find yourself feeling extra impatient—tapping your fingers waiting for a reply or scrolling endlessly because stillness feels uncomfortable—it’s a perfect time to pause and ask:
How can I shift this impatience into patience?
What gifts emerge when I slow down and trust the timing of life?
In the case of Gene Key 5, patience allows intuitive downloads and higher wisdom to flow through.
Instead of filling every free moment with noise (hello, phone scrolling!), creating space could unlock unexpected solutions and opportunities.
See this videoon Gene Key 5 for more of my take on it.
How to Work With the Weekly Transits
Follow the Pulse: Each week, the Gene Keys Instagram page shares the Sun’s current position and offers audio insights. Listen to their reflections to kickstart your week’s contemplation.
Notice the Patterns: Observe whether the shadow, gift, or Siddhi frequency is playing out in your life or the world around you. Journal about your experiences for deeper insights.
Set Intentions: Use the transit themes to guide your personal growth. For shadow-work lovers, it’s an amazing way to target specific patterns and transform them into higher frequencies
How to Use Transits for Content Creation
If you’re a content creator, this weekly energy can also guide your creative process.
Pay attention to whether you’re operating in the shadow energy or accessing the gift frequency of the Gene Key in transit.
For example, again using Gene Key 5 since that’s the week I’m writing this, if you find you’re feeling impatient, which is the shadow energy of Gene Key 5, it might not be the best time to craft your most impactful copy.
Instead, you would want to focus on shifting to the gift frequency—patience—and then create from a more aligned space.
Planning your content with these transits in mind can allow for growth and help you align your messaging with the collective energy of the week!
Ready to Dive In?
Did you already know about these transits? Are you open to trying it out each week to see if you can spot the collective shadow frequency, gift, and Siddhi? I’d love to hear what you think in the comments.

Welcome, seekers! If you’ve landed here, you’re likely curious about Gene Key 33, its connection to shadow work, and the transformative potential it holds. Today, we’ll dive into the shadow of forgetting and explore how this Gene Key can be the pathway toward mindfulness and revelation.
The Shadow of Forgetting
The shadow frequency of Gene Key 33 is forgetting, but it doesn’t mean what you might think. This isn’t about simple memory lapses. Instead, it points to the patterns we bury, the truths we overlook, and the lessons we avoid (usually to protect ourselves from pain or discomfort).
Staying in this shadow creates disconnection. We lose the ability to access the wisdom in our experiences and repeat cycles that dim our growth. Yet within this shadow lies a powerful invitation to reconnect, integrate, and ultimately evolve.
In this video, I share how this Shadow of Forgetting can show up for us in our every day lives.
What Are the Gene Keys?
If you’re new to the Gene Keys, let me introduce you to my current obsession!
Created by Richard Rudd, the Gene Keys are an evolution of the Human Design system and draw on the ancient wisdom of the I Ching. They explore 64 archetypes that represent the full spectrum of human experience.
Each of us has a Hologenetic Profile that identifies the Gene Keys influencing our lives. This profile reveals the shadows, gifts, and higher frequencies that can help us align with our highest potential.
In Richard Rudd’s words:
“The Gene Keys are a code that you contemplate. And as you contemplate, they come alive inside you.”
I often describe the Gene Keys as shadow work on a whole new level.
Shadow work is about uncovering the unconscious patterns, fears, and beliefs holding us back. With the Gene Keys, you don’t just identify your shadows, you understand how they’re impacting every area of your life.
For example, Gene Key 33 might appear in your Hologenetic Profile as part of your Life’s Work, Evolution, Pearl, or Vocation spheres.
Even if it’s not in your profile, every Gene Key has lessons for us all. They also influence the collective through planetary transits.
The Shadow of Forgetting
In the shadow of forgetting, you might find yourself avoiding visibility or hiding parts of your story; these are two things that can greatly impact your ability to connect with your audience authentically.
How I Use the Gene Keys for Spiritual Entrepreneurs
As a copywriter for spiritual entrepreneurs, I use the Gene Keys, Human Design, and intuition to help you embody your most magnetic frequencies and attract the Soul-Aligned clients you love to work with.
With Gene Key 33, for instance, we can transform the shadow of forgetting into the gift of mindfulness to communicate messaging that’s both authentic and irresistible.
✨ Together, we’ll uncover the shadows, gifts, and siddhis in your Hologenetic Profile to craft an online presence that reflects your truest self and magnetizes the clients you’re destined to serve.
Let me know in the comments how this shadow of forgetting shows up for you!
XoXo,
Richard Rudd wrote the Gene Keys in 2002. It took him 7 years to write and he says he was transformed as he did. He was a student of Ra Uru Hu (the founder of Human Design) and taught Human Design when he had his own mystical experience emerging from what he called a “field of limitless light” that lasted 3 days and 3 nights. He emerged with the wisdom of The Gene Keys. The Gene Keys are a contemplative tool to unlock your path of gentle transformation and prosperity.
These are my personal contemplations of the Gene Keys and Human Design after living them and helping my clients transform their shadows too so they can uplevel to their full potential.

Have you ever heard business advice that just didn’t sit quite right with you?
Today, I want to share an alternative POV to a thought-provoking tip I came across on TikTok. A successful businesswoman I follow, Rachel Pederson, was sharing strategies for how to get taken more seriously. One of her tips was to avoid saying phrases like “I think” or “I believe” and to only say “I know.” This tip immediately caught my attention!
In Human Design, each of us has unique ways of expressing ourselves that are tied to what’s called the “Voices of the Throat.”
These voices are linked to specific energies, or “gates,” that we have active in our throat center (it will be a colored in circle around the number).
Each gate brings its own style of expression, shaping not only how we communicate but also how we create the most authentic and impactful connections with others.
So, while “I know” might be powerful for some, others may find “I believe” or “I feel” to be more aligned with their natural strengths.
How the “Voices of the Throat” Work
For example, if you have Gate 56 active, you have a strong “storytelling” voice. In this case, using “I believe” when sharing a story could feel more natural and impactful than saying “I know.”
Or if you’re offering intuitive guidance, using “I feel” (linked to Gate 35, the gate of change and adventure) may convey possibility and vision better than a definitive “I know.”
Each gate brings its own expression style, and in this case, Gate 23 is the one that actually aligns with “I know” energy.
Perhaps this TikTok creator has Gate 23 activated, which is why she’s seeing positive results with her choice of language? But this doesn’t mean that “I know” will have the same effect for everyone.
The Power of Soul-Aligned Language
This is why I always encourage people to build their business and brand from a place of ✨SOUL ALIGNMENT✨. When you follow your own energetic blueprint, you draw on your natural strengths and authentic energy—rather than following advice that might cut off your power and limit your potential.
Relying on words that feel forced or borrowed from someone else’s approach is like turning off the faucet of your natural energy flow.
Many coaches and business leaders share what has worked well for them, and that’s amazing for those who have a similar energetic makeup!
But for others… it can feel uncomfortable or even salesy, pushing them into a shadow frequency—an inauthentic, lower-energy state.
And when it comes to making an impact, whether online or in the workplace, the last thing you want is to be operating in a shadow frequency! See “Are you marketing from the Shadow Frequency?”
Try This Language Experiment This Week!
If you’re curious about your own voice style, pay attention this week to how often you say “I know,” “I feel,” and “I believe.” Notice when these phrases come out naturally. Are you telling a story? Envisioning a possibility? Sharing your truth? This awareness can reveal a lot about your natural expression style.
