What Is Human Design (and Why Everyone’s Talking About Their Chart)

What Is Human Design (and Why Everyone’s Talking About Their Chart)

By now you’ve probably heard mumblings about this.

Someone shares their “type,” talks about their energy, or asks, “Is your Throat Center defined?”

At first, it sounds like a secret language. But it’s part of a system that’s helping thousands of creatives and entrepreneurs finally feel seen.

It’s called Human Design, and yes, it’s trending.
But unlike most trends, this one actually has depth.

If you’ve been feeling stuck, scattered, or unsure which idea to pursue next, your Human Design chart might hold the clarity you’ve been looking for.

Let’s take a look.

So, What Is Human Design?

Human Design is a system that shows you how your energy is designed to work.
It blends ancient wisdom with modern science to create an energetic blueprint of how you think, create, connect, and make aligned decisions.

It was founded by Ra Uru Hu in 1987 after a mystical eight-day experience. Since then, it has grown into a widely used framework for personal growth, creative flow, and more ease in life and business.

It combines insights from five systems:

  • Astrology (your planetary influences)
  • The I Ching (64 energetic gates and themes)
  • The Kabbalah (pathways of insight)
  • The Chakra System (expanded into 9 energy centers)
  • Quantum Physics (everything is energy)

All of these pieces come together in your BodyGraph: a visual chart created using your birth date, time, and place.

It’s not about putting you in a box, or telling you how you are supposed to be (in Astrology I never felt like a Leo, for example).

It’s about helping you understand how you operate best, and what kind of work, people, and timing align with your natural energy.

If you want to explore the original source, check out Jovian Archive, where Ra Uru Hu’s teachings live.

I caution you though… it’s an overwhelming source of information and if you’re ready for an easier to understand version, I recommend you start by downloading your FREE chart [Here] with my 5-Day mini-training series.

Why Is Everyone Obsessed With Their Chart?

Because it feels different from anything else.

Most tools give you traits. Human Design gives you structure. It offers insight into how you make decisions, create content, build relationships, and manage your energy and it’s all based on how you’re designed to operate.

Instead of saying “you’re creative,” it shows you how and when to trust that creativity.

Instead of labeling you as a “leader” or “helper,” it reveals how your energy draws people in.

It doesn’t ask you to become someone else. It helps you remember how to be more yourself.

(Whenever I share skeptical people’s chart with them, there’s always this surprised knowing that comes with it! You can get your free chart [here].)

For the entrepreneurs, creatives, and quietly ambitious souls I work with, it often sounds like this:

“This explains why I get stuck trying to follow business formulas.”
“No wonder that launch strategy never felt right.”
“Now I see where I’ve been second-guessing my own process.” and the inevitable, “I wish I’d known this sooner! It would’ve saved me so much time”.

What Your Chart Can Reveal About Your Creative Flow

One of the most powerful things Human Design offers is insight into your energy centers.

There are nine in your chart, and each one relates to something real: communication, identity, willpower, intuition, emotional energy, and more.

Each center is either:

  • Defined — your energy here is steady and consistent
  • Undefined — your energy is more flexible and responsive to others

Understanding this helps you:

  • Know which ideas are truly aligned for you
  • Notice where you might be absorbing pressure or confusion
  • Build offers that fit your energy, not someone else’s formula
  • Trust your voice, timing, and value without having to prove it

If you’ve felt like you’re constantly almost there, this might be the insight that bridges the gap.

Human Design doesn’t tell you what to do.
It helps you notice what already works and amplify it with confidence.

Where to Start Without Getting Overwhelmed

You don’t have to become an expert overnight.
Start here:

  1. Generate your chart [here].
  2. Learn your Type, which tells you your core energetic role
  3. Understand your Strategy, which helps you take aligned action
  4. Follow your Authority, your personal way of making decisions
  5. Explore your Centers, where your creative energy lives

This system is meant to be experienced.
Try it. Reflect. Adjust. Keep what works.

How I Use This With Clients Who Feel Stuck

If you’ve ever said, “I just need one thing to click,” you’re not alone.
That’s where most of my clients are when they find this work.

They have ideas, talent, and a quiet inner knowing that they’re meant for something more.

But the clarity isn’t there yet. The momentum feels off. And most of the advice out there feels like it was made for someone else.

That’s where Human Design shifted everything for me and for them.

Now I use it as a creative strategy tool. I help people uncover the kind of offers, content, and business ideas that align with their energy and feel good to bring to life.

Where Did Human Design Come From? The Wild Origin of Ra Uru Hu’s System

Where Did Human Design Come From? The Wild Origin of Ra Uru Hu’s System

You’ve probably heard Human Design mentioned in conversations about self-discovery, coaching, or even business strategy. But have you ever wondered where it actually came from?

I used to think it was some gentle, spiritual download. Something soft and floaty. The truth is far stranger and more intense than I expected.

Ra Uru Hu, born Alan Robert Krakower, didn’t just meditate and channel a few ideas. In 1987, while living in Ibiza, he had an eight-day encounter with what he called “The Voice”.

This would be an experience that completely altered his life and resulted in the full transmission of the Human Design system!

It wasn’t a slow development. It was an all-at-once event!

I went deep into the story, researching what really happened and in this short video, I break it all down.

Where Did Human Design Even Come From? Ra’s WILD Origin Story

Who Was Ra Uru Hu?

Before he became known for Human Design, Ra Uru Hu was Alan Robert Krakower, a Canadian advertising executive, magazine publisher, and media producer.

In the early 1980s, he left his former life behind and moved to Ibiza. It was there, in January 1987, that his life would change forever.

He described the encounter as direct contact with an intelligence that instructed him to record what became the Human Design System. This lasted eight days and nights, and Ra said he could not have made it up.

The 8-Day Transmission: How Human Design Was Born

According to Ra, he was asked a single question:
“Are you ready to work?”

The result was a complete system that combined ancient wisdom with modern science.

This wasn’t gradual exploration. It was a structured, detailed framework delivered in just over a week.

That system would later become known as Human Design.

You can hear Ra’s telling of this encounter [HERE].

What Makes Human Design Unique?

Human Design is a synthesis of five key systems:

⭐Astrology
⭐The I Ching (64 hexagrams mapped onto 64 genetic codons)
⭐Kabbalah (the Tree of Life structure)
⭐The Hindu-Brahmin chakra system, expanded from 7 to 9 centers
⭐Quantum physics, particularly the theory of neutrinos as carriers of information

This multidimensional system creates what’s called a Bodygraph, a map of your energy centers and gates based on your birth data.

Why It Matters Today

Human Design has surged in popularity in recent years. It’s now being used by coaches, entrepreneurs, and personal development experts to help people:

➀ Understand how they’re wired to make decisions
➀ Recognize energy patterns and burnout cycles
➀ Improve communication and leadership styles
➀ Navigate relationships with more clarity

It’s not just farfetched anymore. It’s being seen as a tool for grounded strategy and personal alignment. This is even being used in modern workplaces to structure team dynamics and create multi-faceted work environments.

TikTokalypse Why TikTok Users Are Suspicious and seeking other apps amid the TikTok “Ban”

TikTokalypse Why TikTok Users Are Suspicious and seeking other apps amid the TikTok “Ban”

TikTok has always been more than just an app. For its 170+ million U.S. users, it’s been a cultural phenomenon—a place for creativity, connection, and even a hub for organizing change. Whether exposing political truths, dissecting conspiracy theories, or sparking viral movements (like the General Mills protest after the infamous “let them eat cereal” campaign), TikTok has been where people turned for raw, unfiltered perspectives.

But the so-called “dark period” of TikTok, culminating in the January 19, 2025 “ban,” has left its loyal user base feeling duped. Or as many TikTokers succinctly put it: “We were played!”

Let’s walk through what happened—and why users are suspicious.

The Backstory

TikTok’s ban has been years in the making. The first calls to ban TikTok over national security concerns came from none other than Donald Trump during his presidency in 2020. At the time, TikTok was accused of mishandling user data and posing a threat to U.S. security. Yet, many users dismissed the ban as political theater.

There are even news reports of President Biden saying TikTok doesn’t have to close the app because they were not going to enforce fines and planned to leave it to the Trump administration.

See: “Biden won’t enforce TikTok Ban on his last day of Presidency”

Yet, CEO Show Zi Chew was seen meeting with Donald Trump at Mar-A-Lago after which suddenly this dark period was imminent with a message on Saturday January 18, 2025:

“We regret that a U.S. law banning TikTok will take effect on January 19 and force us to make our services temporarily unavailable. We’re working to restore our service in the U.S. as soon as possible, and we appreciate your support. Please stay tuned.”

tiktok message

For avid TikTokers, this felt like the end. Memes flooded the app—goodbyes to their favorite “Chinese spy,” jokes about moving to China, and shared frustration over the loss of a platform many saw as their digital home.

bye to chinese spy meme

Many spent time with Bethany Frankel and Spencer Pratt, like a New Year’s Eve live party countdown with all the feels!

And then it went dark.

The Plot Thickens

The night TikTok went dark, it felt like a definitive goodbye or at least like it would take a few days to sort out. But to everyone’s surprise, by the next morning, TikTok had mysteriously returned. A new message greeted users:

“Welcome back! Thanks for your patience and support. As a result of President Trump’s efforts [prior to inauguration], TikTok is back in the U.S.!”

However, things felt
off. Users immediately noticed differences in the app:

  • “My FYP is different!”
  • “Why am I seeing Meta ads on TikTok?”
  • “I’ve been flagged twice in 24 hours. Not in the last five years have I been flagged.”

And perhaps most suspiciously: TikTok now lets users link their accounts to Facebook. For two companies that were supposedly fierce competitors, this move raised eyebrows across the TikTokverse.

The Fallout

As suspicions grew, TikTok’s users started connecting the dots:

  • Donald Trump spearheaded the original ban but has now emerged as the “hero” who saved the app.
  • TikTok’s CEO, Shou Zi Chew, was spotted at Trump’s inauguration.
  • Meta, TikTok’s once-rival, now appears to have its fingerprints on the app—with ads appearing on TikTok and a Facebook integration.

This led to an explosion of speculation:

  • “This feels weird.”
  • “TikTok has been compromised.”
  • “Once it’s confirmed, we’re ALL leaving right?”

Many users have started fleeing TikTok altogether, seeking new platforms like Red Note and BlueSky—apps promising the uncensored, community-driven experience TikTok once offered.

things feel off on tiktok

Was It All Planned?

The timing, the cryptic messages, the sudden reboot with Meta integration—it’s no wonder TikTok users feel like they’ve been played. As Bethenny Frankel put it:

“People are sad because it’s the land of the misfit toys. A beautiful disaster
it is a special place
and just the simple pleasures that get us through the hardest times are why we’re there. It was the community. It was the entertainment. It was the connection.”

Now, the question remains: What really happened?

What Do You Think?

Is TikTok still the app you once loved? Or has the “ban” and its aftermath changed your perspective? Let me know in the comments!

For those who’ve already moved on, where are you headed next? Rednote? BlueSky? Or somewhere entirely new?

One thing’s for sure: the TikTokalypse has left its mark, and the TikTok community may never be the same again.

Are You a Lightworker? This Fatigue Might Sound Familiar

Are You a Lightworker? This Fatigue Might Sound Familiar

Why Are Lightworkers Burning Out?

I’m hearing it more and more from the conscious professionals, visionaries, healers, and way-showers I work with, and it’s honestly concerning. If you’ve been holding the light and showing up for the world, you’ve probably felt it too—that deep, bone-weary fatigue creeping in.

The constant onslaught of corruption, greed, and the mess of ineffective policies can leave even the most resilient among us drained. It’s like you’re pushing a boulder uphill but never reaching the top.

It’s exhausting, isn’t it?

If you’re reading this, chances are you’ve been striving to create change in a world that seems stubbornly resistant. Whether it’s educating others about the chemicals in our food, advocating for holistic healthcare, or following your intuition only to feel unheard, the uphill battle is real.

But here’s the truth: ushering in a new earth is a monumental undertaking. It’s creating a whole new way of living, one that honors authenticity, connection, and sustainability. And while it’s challenging, it’s also profoundly rewarding.

Yet, you don’t have to do it all alone. In fact, you can’t.

Let’s Face It: Ushering in a New Earth is No Small Task

You’re not just tweaking the status quo—you’re part of creating a whole new way of living, thinking, and being. This isn’t a quick fix; it’s a profound transformation of humanity’s systems, values, and energy.

It’s no wonder you’re feeling the weight of it all.

  • You’re speaking truth into a world that’s slow to listen. Whether it’s about food, healthcare, or the environment, change sometimes inches forward slower than we’d like.
  • You’re navigating uncharted waters. The New Earth doesn’t come with a roadmap, and you’re helping write it as you go.
  • You’re carrying the collective energy of transition. It’s heavy work, especially when so many are still holding onto the old ways.

The key is learning to recharge and trust that even in the midst of chaos, we’re headed in the right direction.

How to Recharge Your Energy

lightworker fatigue

  1. Take a Break

You’ve done the work. You’ve shown up. Now it’s time to relax and rediscover joy.

Attend spiritual gatherings, visit saunas or salt rooms, do yoga, or indulge in self-care that makes you feel alive.

Filling your cup ensures you’ll have enough energy to share with others when the time comes.

lightworker fatigue

  1. Stop the Energy Leaks

Take a hard look at where your energy is going. Are you pouring into things that aren’t giving back?

  • Outsource tasks. Hire a housekeeper, invest in meal plans, or create a low-cost digital program that works for you.
  • Set boundaries. Spend less time with draining people or shorten frustrating family calls.
  • Stop convincing. If someone isn’t ready to hear your ideas, let it go. Instead, share your insights on platforms where your voice will resonate, write them down, and trust that the right audience will find you.

  1. Ignite Your Energetic DNA

One of the best ways to recharge is by understanding and shifting your shadow frequency—the unconscious patterns that keep you stuck in exhaustion.

The Gene Keys is my favorite tool for this. It’s a highly accurate way to pinpoint what’s weighing you down and offers a clear roadmap for transforming that energy into a higher vibration.

Want to know where to start? You can explore more in [this post] or grab your Genius Activation Roadmap [here].

You’re Not Alone

This journey isn’t easy, but it’s worth it. The New Earth is being created piece by piece, and you’re a vital part of that transformation.

If you aren’t there to light the way, then what? People need you.

Remember, you’re not in this alone, and you’re not meant to carry the entire weight of the world on your shoulders.

“If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.” — African Proverb

Take time to rest, trust in your vision, and keep shining your light.

What else would you add to the list? What are you doing to stay charged and shining your light?

Who Is Solo the Fire Skunk and Why Are People Crying About Him Amid the Devastating LA Wildfires?

Who Is Solo the Fire Skunk and Why Are People Crying About Him Amid the Devastating LA Wildfires?

On Tuesday, January 7th, the Pacific Palisades fire tore through the area, leaving a path of destruction in its wake. As firefighters battled the flames and families faced heartbreaking losses, an unexpected little hero emerged on TikTok—a skunk now affectionately known as Solo.

Solo’s story began with a simple TikTok post by Darryl Silver, a Los Angeles content creator better known for his gadget reviews than for rescuing wildlife. In his first video about Solo, Darryl confessed, “I just found this skunk chilling in my front yard. I’m not sure if he came from one of the fires, but he looks wasted if anybody has any suggestions what to do I’m all ears.”

The video hit TikTok’s For You Page immediately. Comments started pouring in with advice: “Try cat food,” “Give him water,” and “Give him some fruit and leave him alone to rest♄”

What followed was an endearing show of online community support none of us saw coming.

Meet Solo the Fire Skunk

Solo was clearly struggling. He barely moved and looked like he had run for his life. Darryl, unsure how to approach a wild skunk without getting sprayed, asked TikTok viewers for suggestions. He filmed the whole thing, giving TikTok a front-row seat to his attempts to help this exhausted creature.

And it wasn’t long before the internet fell in love.

By the time Darryl posted “Fire Skunk Update Part 2,” Solo was trending. Viewers were deeply invested in whether the little skunk would pull through. In the comments, people shared their concern: “I have never wanted to hug a skunk until today.” one user admitted, while many others begged for updates and shared things like, ” I am so invested in Solo’s survival😳!”

TikTok’s Rollercoaster Ride

For 24 hours, Darryl continued to update us on Solo. He cheered when Solo moved a little, worried when he didn’t eat much, and kept trying different ways to make him comfortable including offering a box for shelter and various foods.

But on January 9th, Darryl posted an update titled “Solo the Fire Skunk, Final Update.” I’ll admit, I almost couldn’t bear to watch it. As you probably gathered, Solo didn’t make it.

In the video, a visibly emotional Darryl shared the heartbreaking news, thanking his viewers for their support. “RIP Solo” flooded the comments, as thousands of people mourned a skunk they’d never met but had come to care about deeply.

As one commenter put it, “I can’t believe I’m crying over a skunk.”

Why Did Solo the Fire Skunk Capture Our Hearts?

So, why was everyone crying over a skunk?

Solo’s story hit differently because it reminded us of the countless lives—human and animal—affected by disasters like the Los Angeles Wildfires, which was still spreading at the time. Normally, skunks are animals we avoid. But Solo’s exhaustion, his vulnerability, and Darryl’s compassion broke through those barriers.

Solo became a symbol of resilience and a reminder of the connections we all share, even with the creatures we least expect.

His story also highlighted something deeply human: the desire to help. In times of chaos, it’s hard to know where to put your time, resources, and attention. But when you see a way to contribute—whether it’s offering a tip, donating, or simply caring—it gives you a moment to feel connected and purposeful, even amidst uncertainty.

Who Is Darryl Silver?

Darryl, the man behind Solo’s story, is more than just a TikTok creator. He’s the CEO of The Idea Factory, an award-winning producer, a children’s book author, and even the founder of Calavera Tequila. With over 200k followers, Darryl usually entertains with tech reviews and live streams. But Solo’s story showed a different side of him—a man with a big heart who wasn’t afraid to get emotional over a little skunk.

The Legacy of Solo the Fire Skunk

Solo’s journey may have been short, but his impact was seen. He brought people together in a time of tragedy, sparking conversations about compassion, wildlife, and how disasters ripple far beyond what we see.

As one commenter wrote, “You& Solo brought us all together for a reason. Showing love and compassion for him in the middle of this horrific disaster was something we all needed to see.”

final sentiment for solo the fire skunk

RIP Solo. You may have been small, but you made a big difference.

Has Solo’s story touched your heart too? Why do you think this little skunk broke through the noise and touched so many? I’d love to hear your thoughts!

XoXo,
